Summary
Coordinate, implement and work on projects that will encompass plans for the event season at the University of Central Florida Arena. Assist the Marketing Coordinator in completing tasks necessary for the overall campaign for the upcoming show season.

Requirements
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop
- Know how to effectively use the internet for research
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- College sophomore, junior, or senior working for earned credits
- Work a minimum of 15 hours per week
- Well organized with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
- Assertive, outgoing, creative, hard-working, resourceful, independent thinker who is greatly interested in working in Sports/Entertainment Marketing

Job Duties
- Research various projects that will require making phone calls, faxing, e-mailing, searching the internet, and even conducting meetings with various individuals within the market.
- Brainstorm, plan and execute publicity events.
- Assist with group sales.
- Correspond with show promoters to gain information about upcoming shows.
- Interact with UCF staff when working on various projects.
- Conduct demographic and psychographic research for various events and projects.
- Attend various meetings that will be beneficial in completing tasks.
- Represent arena at booths/tables at festivals, fairs, and other events with high traffic to be able to get the word out about the arena and events.
- Create overview and recaps of event and marketing promotions.
- Meet with potential sponsors and execute marketing with third-party partnerships.
- Maintain web site.
- Go out into community to distribute flyers and posters, create relationships with various retailers, and get the word out about the arena.
- Interact with various media representatives on the sales as well as editorial departments.
- Work non-traditional hours as tasks warrant.
- Write press releases and media advisories.
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
